When was the last time you scheduled a friend date with your bestiie?
If it’s been a while, put one on your calendar NOW!
Last year, I went back home to Africa and saw my best friends after a long time. Even though we stayed in contact and talked on the phone every week, I hadn’t seen some of them in almost a year.
So I was super grateful and excited to get to spend some time with them. We got to do lots of fun things together and I will cherish those memories every day.
Friend dates are a great way to spend some quality time with your friends but they also help you guys reconnect if you haven’t seen each other in a while. This is really helpful if you have a lot of long-distance besties like I do and sometimes the distance can start to put a strain on your relationships.
So here are some ideas for some fun friend date ideas to try this weekend. I’ve included a lot of at-home ones because many of my friends and I are homebodies and have a lot of fun at home tbh lol. But there are ideas for those who love to go out as well!
Happy reading!
