Everyday is a good day to celebrate your friends.

Wouldn’t you agree?

My friends are some of the most important people in my life. That’s why I always make a point to prioritize quality time with them.

It does get more difficult as you get older and busier but it’s still something that we always look forward to.

And I believe over the course of your friendship, there are certain activities that you guys absolutely have to do at least ONCE. These are the epitome of fun, good vibes and lasting memories between friends.

So here are 14 bucket list activities you have to try with your besties to share laughs and create memories you’ll cherish forever.

1. Create a scrapbook

Recreate your friendship on paper with a personalized scrapbook.

Include photos, funny quotes, inside jokes and anything else that is symbolic of your bond.

It’s a nice way to celebrate your friendship over the years.

2. Road trip time!

Road trips are just the best.

And they’re even better when you bring friends along for the ride.

Just hit the open road, let the windows down, have a nice playlist on repeat and just chill.

It’s good if you have a destination in mind but why not try a road trip without a plan too?

It could be a fun way to let loose a little and be a bit more spontaneous even if just for a day.

3. Do a “10 Things We’ve Never Done” challenge

Think of 10 things you guys have never done but have always wanted to do and give each other a timeline to get them done.

Whatever the thing is, find ways to keep each other accountable and document the experience for each other!

4. Volunteer together

Volunteering is such a wholesome experience.

It’s a great way to forget your problems for a while and give back.

So search in your area for volunteering opportunities and bring a friend along. It’ll be an opportunity for you guys to make a difference in someone’s life while bonding and creating memories too.

5. Write letters for your future selves

Yes, it’s a bit cheesy but hey why not?

Write each other letters that you will open 1, 2 or 5 years later (whatever you decide).

Include whatever you want in them—encouragements, funny stories, jokes etc. The point is it’ll be interesting to see how far you will both have come from now to then!

6. Learn something new together

It’s always fun to learn something with a friend.

Whether it’s a new skill, a language or whatever.

Yes, you can laugh at each other (in good fun) when you make silly mistakes. But the best part is you can push each other and keep each other accountable and this helps you guys forge stronger bonds.

So pick something new that neither of you have tried before like an improv class or an instrument and learn it together. Remember to embrace the mistakes, the setbacks and the wins however small they may be!

7. Do a “No Complaints” challenge

Let’s see who can spend the longest without whining or complaining about something.

Hint: it’s A LOT harder than you might think.

But hey it’s a good exercise to also remind you to practice gratitude in your everyday life.

8. Go to an amusement park or fair

Reconnect with your inner child at an amusement park with your friend!

Have fun eating all sorts of delicious treats and trying some crazy fun rides together.

9. Plan a best friend photoshoot

A photoshoot with friends is always a good idea.

Even better if it’s an impromptu one.

My friends and I used to take a lot more pics during our teen years but as we’ve gotten older we’ve just been preoccupied with other things (yay adulthood).

But next time you’re with your friends, make a point to take some pictures.

Whether you want to dress up and make it a whole affair or take random silly pictures of each other, it doesn’t matter.

It’s all about not taking yourselves too seriously and taking a second to pause and capture the good times with each other.

10. Create a Playlist for Each Other

Come up with a list of songs that remind you of your friend, send it to them and have them do the same for you.

Let’s see whose playlist is the most accurate and sums up the person best!

11. Start a Tradition

To make your friendship a little more interesting, why not start a fun tradition?

It could be that every Friday you send each other a short video recapping your day (even if you guys live in different places).

Or you make each other presents for your friendship anniversary.

It should be something that you can sustain and that is unique to your friendship!

12. Write and Perform a Skit Together

Growing up, my cousins and I always used to create little skits and perform them for each other and the rest of our family. It was one of the highlights of my childhood.

So why not tap into your creative side and come up with a little something for you and your friends to act out? It will help you channel the actors within!

13. Go to a concert together

My friend and I went  to watch Ed Sheeran perform live a few years ago and it was such an amazing experience.

I’ve gone to watch concerts solo before but it’s a lot more fun and entertaining when you go with your friends honestly. It’s like you get to recreate your at-home jamming sessions  with the actual artist in front of you!

14. Plan a friend getaway

There’s nothing like a fun getaway with friends.

A few years ago, I visited Puerto Rico with some friends and it is a trip that I will cherish forever.

You get to explore new places, try delicious foods and get into all sorts of adventures.

It’s a guaranteed way to share laughs and memories with your friends.
